Eligibilty
• Minimum academic qualification for a candidate is a 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any of the Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science as optional subject. The candidates appearing for their 10+2 are also eligible for consideration of provisional admission
• Candidates whose current age is 18 years or more are eligible to apply
• Students in the 2nd year can join through lateral entry*

Selection Process

• Selection to JRE is based on JEE / UPSEE ( State level Entrance Examination scores)
• The Admission Process is as per the norms of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU)

 

How to Apply

Applicants interested in appearing for B.Tech program can apply by any one of the following methods.

(a) Application Form
Applicants are required to fill up the Application Form given in the prospectus and send/submit it to ‘Admission Officer- B.Tech Admission Office’ at the JRE Greater Noida campus. The self attested copies of X Class, XII Class and JEE/SEE marks sheets are to be enclosed along with the Application Form. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the mark sheets up to the current semester/ year.
(b)Online Applcation
Applicants can apply online using the Online Payment Gateway .

• The dates of payment are subject to change by the JRE – Admission office. Any change will be communicated through college / official website
• Admission fee to be paid with in stipulated date, failing which student will not be allowed to attend the class

• Service tax as applicable in India will be levied on all additional charges

(c) Lateral Entry

 

A) Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
B) Passed B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
C) Provided that in case of students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects.
D) Provided further that, the students belonging to B. Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
E) Provided further that students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE approved institution or B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. However the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned in A, B, D, and E above.
