Mr. K N Memani (Ex Chairman & CEO - Ernst & Young) is a Chartered Accountant. He was the Chairman and Country
Managing Partner at Ernst & Young, India till 31st March 2004. He was also a member of Ernst & Young Global Council
for the past 10 years. Mr. Memani specializes in Business and Corporate Advisory, Foreign Taxation, Financial
Consultancy etc. and is consulted on the corporate matters by several domestic and foreign companies. Currently,
Mr. Memani is a member of the Expert Committee constituted by the Ministry of the Company Law for the amendment of
the Company's Act. He is also a member of the National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standards (NACAS) and
member of Accounting Standard Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is the only Indian appointed
in this committee by IMF. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of IIT - Roorkee, INFINITY Management School,
Jaipuria Management School, Charitable and Philanthropic Trusts.

New York). He has held public office of the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) - a
statutory body. He was also the President of Confederation of Asian & Pacific Accountants (CAPA). He has served on the

Dr PRADIP KHANDWALLA (Ex Director-IIM Ahmedabad)

Dr. Pradip Khandwalla (Ex Director - IIM Ahmedabad) is presently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of India. He has been a consultant/trainer to a large number of organizations, including the Aditya Birla Group, Alembic,
BHEL, Bharat Petroleum, CMC, Cadila Pharma, DFID, Grow Talent, Gujarat State Finance Corporation, Hindustan Lever,
L&T etc. Prof. Khandwalla taught at McGill University, Canada for several years before returning to India in 1975. He
held the L&T Chair in Organizational Behavior at IIM-A from 1985 to 1991. He was the Director of IIM-A from 1991 to
1996. Thereafter, he was a professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad till his retirement in 2002. Prof.
Khandwalla authored over a dozen professional books and 110 papers and articles in Indian and foreign journals.

compounded sales and profit growth in the 5 year period in the history of the company. He has nurtured and developed
scores of future leaders including two current Managing Directors and one current Asia - Pacific CFO. He has cross
functional hands-on experience in managing operations and R&D in addition to sales and marketing. He has identified
and executed several Technology Transfer and Licensing deals to accelerate growth. He has managed a divestiture and
has actively partnered with Government and Industry Associations to improve healthcare delivery in India.

Mr. Rajesh Narain Gupta (Managing Partner - S.N. Gupta & Co. Eminent Law Firm) has a vast experience in corporate
and transactional matters. His areas of specialization include almost all aspects of Banking, Laws and Practices,
Structured Finance, Micro Finance, Corporate and Commercial Laws, Real Estate including Foreign Direct Investments in
India. He has been a pioneer in India in the field of succession and estate planning. He was retained by large foreign and
private banks with regard to implementation of procedural part of securitization and reconstruction of financial assets
and enforcement of Security Interest Act 2002. He was also a special invitee by the Indian Bankers Association and the
Reserve Bank of India in connection with the amendment of Banking Regulation Act 1949.

Mr. M S Verma (Ex Chairman - State Bank of India) is one of the luminaries in the world of finance and banking, having
spearheaded the country's largest bank, State Bank of India. Mr. M S Verma retired as the Chairman (1997 – 1998) of the
State Bank of India, after 40 years of service. Widely traveled, he has worked within as well as outside the country and is
highly experienced in different facets of banking encompassing commercial banking at national and international levels,
development banking, investment banking and asset management. He has been Advisor to RBI (1998 - 2000), Chairman of
the Board of Directors of IDBI Bank (2000-2003), Chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (2000 - 2003) and
Chairman of the Advisory Panel on Financial Sector Supervision and Regulation, constituted by the Reserve Bank of India
(2008-2009). He is the Senior Advisor to Stonebridge International, a Washington based consultancy firm. Mr. Verma is

Prof. Branson Kwok Chi Hing was Dean (interim), School of Human Development & Social Services and Head of Programs

Prof. Graeme Britton has won: Walsh Memorial Award 1970 (as member of teaching team that won the SME/CASA

Award (1998). Graeme has over 27 years of experience in company-specific projects,
national projects, and international collaborative research projects. He is an expert
in the Design of Management and Computer-aided systems for engineering companies
using Systems Methodologies and General Graph Theoretic Methods.

How long does it take to complete the PGDM program?
The JRE PGDM is a full-time two - year program starting in June.
What is the structure of the Program?
The PGDM curriculum is extensive and covers all aspects of management to provide students with multi-faceted knowledge in all fields of management, while they hone and specialize in their chosen field. The course structure has been designed such that the students can assimilate this knowledge in the best possible combination of subjects and time.
During the highly intensive first phase of the program students will be exposed to the foundations of management and develop indispensable managerial competences. The faculty will take you through functional skills
With this platform firmly in place, the subsequent year of the program is devoted to the chosen specialization- Marketing, Finance or HR. The summer training after the 2nd semester makes the student more industry ready.

What teaching methods are used in the JRE PGDM Program?
JRE PGDM uses a variety of teaching methods, but fundamentally, the program relies on the use of interactive discussion-based learning, including the case study method and industry visits. The importance of real life learning at JRE is immense and therefore, the faculty is trained so that students are oriented to learn through innovative methods of learning.
Are there industry mentor programs for students, and what can participants expect of them?
A group of mentors with broad knowledge and experience will assist the students through a highly interactive mentoring program. During this process the mentors will help the students to clarify their goals and objectives, and will actively focus on the holistic development of the mentee. Mentors will focus on maximising the potential of each student by guiding him or her through all aspects of their individual personal growth, academic learning and skill development. Mentors will share their life experiences and insights, promoting a love of lifelong learning and solid corporate citizenship.
How many PGDM participants are in a class?
The JRE PGDM follows AICTE norms, under which the maximum strength of the batch is 120 students. Personalized attention is given to each of the students in the batch so that they can gauge the maximum knowledge and interact freely with the faculty .

What are the admission criteria?
The selection to JRE is based on our aptitude test score which consist of written test, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who have the score of CAT/MAT/XAT above 80 percentile are exempted from our aptitude test.
What is the basic eligibility for admission?
A bachelor's degree with medium of instruction as English in any discipline. Also, applicants in their final year bachelor's degree course are also eligible to apply.
How does the JRE Admissions Office communicate the admission decisions to applicants?
The applicants are sent a formal offer letter through email and their corresponding address. This offer to JRE seat has to be accepted within 10 days of receiving the offer.

how does the interview process work?
After being shortlisted through the CAT/MAT/XAT score, the student would give a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The personal interview has a panel of judges who select the candidate based on their candidature. 20% weightage is given to the Personal interview.

Do you offer placement services and do we have a dedicated placement cell?
At JRE, we have a dedicated placement cell that offers placement and summer training. The cell is headed by IIT and IIM alumnus who are entirely devoted towards establishing strong corporate relations, so that the students are able to get placed in the top MNC’s and companies.
What is the process of placements for PGDM students?
The placement cell recognizes the skill set and the interest of the candidate through their profile. This skill set is matched with the job description sent by the companies. The profiles are then sent to the companies.
