Social Responsibility Committee of JRE Group of Institutions conducted a “BLOOD DONATION” camp on September 18, 2014. All the students, faculty and staff members participated voluntarily in the camp.
In total, 178 units of blood were collected. This was the fourth camp in history of JRE, and once again, it helped students in getting awareness about their social responsibilities and showed enthusiastic participation for the same. The Camp started at 10.30 a.m. and went up to 5:30 p.m. in the Evening. The camp was jointly organized by “AIIMS, New Delhi” in the JRE’s campus under the supervision of faculties from JRE Group of Institutions. The event was a grand success, and shows the enthusiasm in the growing Engineers and Managers for helping the society and needy. This event has been organized once every year since JRE has started its journey, and is expected to go on for the time yet to come.
The event’s success was result of contributed efforts of Students, Faculties & Staff of JRE School of Engineering and JRE School of Management. It was one of the event which reminded us, that we depend upon each other. The value of unselfish donation could be truly felt here, where people were spending their valuable time and bearing to lose their own “blood” for unselfish & Nobel cause.
